Please note that our texts will likely be very different. Anyway I think that
to have both a good RCS and a wiki would be helpful.

Maybe a distributed RCS is what would best fit to our needs. We may use our
own wiki instead of wiki.debian.org. I might set up Ikiwiki[1] on Alioth
(http://packaging-handbook.alioth.debian.org), it supports at least SVN and
git, IIRC. We may also port the Docbook XML export from MoinMoin to Ikiwiki
as a plugin (both are written in Python), maybe Joey may be helpful. It was a
move that I planned for the long term, but if it can be useful, IMHO we can
do this just now.
