[Parted-edge] Yes, I'm silly ; -), resume of previous posts that I've lost

Hello,

I'm sending this mail just to notify that I hadn't signed up this
mailing list before (shame on me) and now I do :-)

I've read the backlog and I'll post here the resume of what I think:

Subject: [Parted-edge] C++ bindings in GNU Parted.

I'm ok with hand-coded bindigs since major of team prefer it.

Subject: [Parted-edge] C++ bindings: directory structure

I prefer if we need the bindings outside of main parted
repository. I would suggest to use:

  http://git.debian.org/git/parted/bindings.git

So we, when releasing parted, do two releases. One for GNU Parted
and one for the bindings itself. It also would allow us to release
  Parted first if need.

Subject: [Parted-edge] VFS layer

I still think we should remove all filesystems code but FAT or
anyother without a library by now. That would make our life easier
to focus on what we should focus, partitioning.

In my POV, we should make the VFS layer on-the-fly since most of
needed functions are still availabke. Besides, to avoid dependency
overflow we might allow, by using configure options, enable/disable
  each external filesystem.

Subject: [Parted-edge] Real partition ID support

I'm ok with what Debarshi proposed but I think we should first work
on refactoring instead of start adding new features.

I prefer to start the cmdline utility rewriting before start adding
new features since it would allow us to detect what would need
  refactoring and do that.
