A patch was submitted some time ago by the GParted maintainer, Bart 
Hakvoort (if I remember correctly, pardon me if I'm wrong) that added 
this feature.

I'll see if I can dig up the archives and find it. This is definitely 
something that we can review at this stage and push into edge.
