 I don't; I was taking the temperature on the idea.  :)

 The idea is quite simply a mean to manage multiple build environments
 for you easily, without crafting scripts or manually creating config
 files.  pbuilder commands would take a -p flag to set the profile, this
 would basically be like configfile /etc/pbuilder/$p.pbuilderrc, and it
 would also be used to *save* the config you set on the command-line and
 create sensible defaults.  Say you "pbuilder -p foo create
 --distribution bar", that would *create* the config file and set
 various things in it such as:
   DISTRIBUTION=bar
   BASETGZ=/var/cache/pbuilder/bar-base.tgz
   ...

 I'm attaching pbuilder-dist and pbuilder-dist-simple as example of
 things we could get rid of entirely; same goes for this kind of
 constructs:
