Ok, I've finished upgrading the package to 5.4. It took longer than
expected, because I included SSL, Kokyu, CIAO and RTCORBA for TAO...
long list and many packages to create :-)
I have the packages (plus source) at
http://people.debian.org/~markos/ace/
for testing. If you find everything ok, I'll upload. Of course I fixed
the bug (it was a missing shlib dependency).
Actually, these packages are built from slightly older source. The
source+diff I have on the page fix some lintian warnings/errors
(mostly with executable non-scripts, etc).
Other than that they are the same packages. I didn't want to wait as
this whole set takes up more than a day to build on my system! (just
a p3 laptop :-( )
So far they have been working normally with my programs (apart from
having to declare some more #includes).
