I don't think that will be necessary, I was playing around with 5.4.3=20
so that the renaming conversion will take place with that (ie, have=20
libace5.4.3 instead of libace5.4, etc). I did some work on this, but=20
apparently some of the patches you and Raphael prepared for 5.4.2=20
have been included in 5.4.3 (hooray!). So the following patches fail=20
to apply:

14-mpc-reactor-separation (only at a couple of points)
16-fix-tests
80-update-makefile (fails miserably)
81-patch-idlstubs-order-cossevent
82-mpc-honour-libout

The only other change I did, was the bug fix (the libfltk1-dev=20
dependency) and switching to the .bz2 source in the archive (saved=20
~6MB of space in the source package). I've uploaded the whole bunch=20
in http://people.debian.org/~markos/ace/

Mind you it doesn't work, the aforementioned patches fail to apply :-)

Btw, could you remind me what repo do you use so that I could join? Or=20
we could host the whole thing on alioth (there already is a project=20
on alioth anyway and about time we use it, too). And we could ask to=20
use subversion over cvs if you prefer.=20

Oh and Happy New Year :-)

Konstantinos
