I've commited two new patches to branches/5.6.3:

- 25-remove-duplicate-files - makes MPC add .pidl files only once to
the generated Makefile.am files. Johnny fixed this upstream in the
Makefile.am's but it should be fixed in the .mpc files.
- 26-autoupdate - Runs autoupdate and autoreconf both in the ACE and
the TAO directories. It's required because anduril.dre runs libtool
1.5 but we are using libtool 2.2.

IMHO both of them should be committed upstream.

With those two patches and a modification to 14-autoconf-tao (I'm not
really sure it's needed, though), it builds here on my Kubuntu Karmic
i386. I do not have more time today but I will test on Debian Unstable
tomorrow.

However, I think we should do two more things before we release 5.6.3-6:

1. Try building tests and examples. The fact that ACE and TAO build
now does not mean it runs fine. I only use a small part of ACE (timers
and sockets), thus I cannot vouch for the correctness of the binaries
being generated now.

2. Now that we are running autoupdate and autoreconf, I'd bet we can
get rid of some patches

When this is done, we can move forward to 5.7.5 :-)
