Okay. I did not understand what you meant: that switching back to 
traditional compilation method removed .pidl installation. So you had to 
find a way to make sure these files are installed, as they are as of 
5.6.3-6 - e.g. in libtao-dev. Am I understanding right?

By the way I managed to build 5.7.7 packages with a few glitches. I'll 
send a detailed email on this later this week.
