We have created a partly replacement for TAO IDL for some research 
project, but that work hasn't been released in the community yet. Making 
a full replacement is possible, but still a huge amount of work, 
something I don't see happening without someone really funding such an 
effort. The other areas haven't been looked at.

Can we at least see how we can keep ACE updated on debian?
