What I pushed to mentors should work fine but I updated it a couple of
times with minor details. All of them built fine for me here (but while
looking at the doxygen issue, I've just discovered my sid VM was actually a
jessie VM!).

git includes a couple of fixes towards #657917 but I couldn't solve it yet
:-(
