The problem is that with platform_macros.GNU the check will be done with
each source file which is not a good thing. Maybe add flag to the GNU
rules (like for example valgrind=1) that sets all needed compiler flags,
for largefile=1, that way ACE upstream can just set the flag to 1 when
needed.
