No, it will not: ace 6.3.4 does not build with libssl 1.1.0 and nobody is
working on fixing that upstream. After all the problems caused by OpenSSL
fixes by non-experts, I will not venture into that muddy field.

A source package for ace 6.3.4 with the kfreebsd patch is available here.
It works on sid but fails on experimental:
