[Pkg-ace-devel] ACE, TAO, OpenDDS and ROS2

Hi,

I'm getting asked questions about Debian packages for libtao-dev -- it
seems that these used to exist ten years ago, but are no more.  I'm being
told that they are needed to build OpenDDS, and that in turn, this is
needed to build ROS2 (robot operating system)  and that this is blocking
the packaging of OpenDDS and ROS2 for Debian.

Do any of you know anything more about this?  What happened to libtao?
