There is also a thread on the -devel list about this. This check is not
against dpkg-sig, the rejection of such debs is just a side effect.

Im scheduling time this weekend to enhance it, checking the dpkg-sig
generated stuff against keyring and beeing a bit more flexible in the
implementation.
Short term solution: Upload without dpkg-sig right now.
Long term solution: Be patient. :)
