[Pkg-allegro-maintainers] Bug#563578: kq: wrong resistances in Water Ring

Package: kq
Version: 0.99.cvs20070319-1.1
Severity: minor

The "Water Ring" item has "Absorb water attacks" as its description,
but it does not affect resistance to water attacks at all.
As seen via the Stats menu item, its actual effects are:

Ice +15 (i.e. absorb ice attacks, gaining HP)
  Fire +10 (i.e. full resistance)
  Poison +5
  Thunder -5 (i.e. more vulnerable)

I suppose the effects should be more like:

  Water +15
  Ice +10
  Poison +5
  Fire -5

I actually found this bug with my local version kq
0.99.cvs20070319-1.1.kon.1. The patches I'm using are in Debian
bug 537798. I don't remember whether it's possible to get a Water
Ring before the game crashes if one isn't using those patches.
