[Pkg-anonymity-tools] Fwd: Ticket #12852 (Switch RecommendedVersions file to www.tpo) created

A couple days ago Mike Perry closed this ticket [1] with the message:

"Done. The new versioncheck URL will be ​
https://www.torproject.org/projects/torbrowser/RecommendedTBBVersions.
It's not up yet. We'll put it there when we release 3.6.5/4.0-alpha-2 on
Tuesday (Sep 2)."

I just asked if the old URL will redirect to the new URL. Hopefully it
will, but if not it will break Tor Browser Launcher for all users.

We can release an update quickly, but the new URL doesn't work yet, so
it doesn't make sense to release it until Tuesday. Thoughts on the best
way to handle this?
