As said in private, I think that the point of these commits is to open a
new tab when you click on a link in an email or terminal, once TBB is
already open.

As Micah said, this does not affect Debian, as there is no other Firefox
process unless one installed it manually and run it at the same time.
That's why, in my humble opinion, I'd first upload 0.1.8 which is ready
and would fix the signing key issues. This seems quite more urgent to me.

Let's simply wait some time for 0.1.9 or the next version.
