[Pkg-anonymity-tools] Removing Vidalia?

Hi,

Vidalia is dead upstream, and has a crapload of bugs nobody will
ever fix. The Tor Project is actively removing any reference to
Vidalia from their website.

I'm not sure it's in a good shape in Jessie, e.g. what happens exactly
on initial installation, e.g. is it configured properly to use the
auth socket? Some people are happier with 0.3.x, that has itself
another crapload of bugs that nobody will ever fix.

I'm pretty sure we should *not* let Vidalia be in Stretch. Now, I'm
wondering if it's sensible to let it be released even in Jessie.

Given that Tails is going to drop Vidalia soonish, and that Tails is
shipping its patched version anyway, I'm less and less motivated to
maintain it in Debian. I'm not using it at all anymore, and not
recommending it to anyone, personally. Anyone cares more than me, and
wants to take care of it? Otherwise, I think I'll ask the release team
to remove it from Jessie.

Cheers,
