It might be! I haven't gotten around to testing 0.2.7.1-alpha yet.

If it does have the feature I need, then it would make sense to wait
until a stable version of TBB comes out that includes Tor 0.2.7.1,
because all Windows and OSX users, and probably still many Linux users,
will be getting Tor from Tor Browser still.

Or I could check the Tor version available through the control port and
make it work either way.
