[Pkg-audacious-maintainers] Bug#561826: No feedback when loading many files

Package: audacious
Version: 1.5.0-2

I have a couple dozen thousand audio files in a moderately deep
directory structure, which understandably takes a while to load.

The annoying thing is that the "file addition" dialog does not give any
kind of feedback to the user after "add" is pressed with the directory
selected. The dialog does not close immediately, playlist stays empty,
so to a user who does not happen to have a CPU/disk monitor applet
running, it seems as if nothing has happened.

It would be helpful to have the pointer turn into a clock, or some other
"loading in progress" feedback.

regards,
