I kind of doubt this problem. The /usr/lib/cgi-bin/awstats.pl in Lenny
also excludes "svn" from counted entries and the error message should
have said so. Somehow there's a mismatch between your awstats.pl and
browsers.pm. You can verify the installed files with "debsums awstats".
Please also make sure you're using /usr/lib/cgi-bin/awstats.pl and not
an outdated local copy of it.

Please follow up with more information if you can....
