First, I'm sorry for not having helped out more.
I don't know if my opinions matters, but I'm sharing them anyway
to avoid the impression that noone cares about your investments
in maintaining awstats. I'm very thankful for your work Sergey!

I have no objections. While I don't object to there being many still
unresolved issues left, I think there has been very many improvements
in the git repo that would be a shame to miss the squeeze release.

My personal opinion is that aiming for perfection is wrong,
we should only consider if the current state is an improvement or not.
I think it is, but it would be very nice if Jonas with his
historic knowledge about the awstats challanges could find
time to review the package and maybe iron out any critical issues
before we go ahead.

If you need any assistance in getting the package uploaded,
feel free to poke me and I'll help out. I guess you might
need sponsorship?
It would be awesome if you took lead in preparing the package
for upload....

Don't hesitate to poke me if there are any issues that
you want my help with. Being busy with other things
I will need to be poked at to get my attention pointed
at awstats.
