I understand. This is the good policy (first stabilize stable before
doing fancy stuff). Unfortunately, I really need one of those fancy
stuff ;)

OK. Let's go for it. We are using awstats at work anyway. I have
requested to join the team on alioth.

As I'm busy those days (ensuring squeeze is ok and more), it can take weeks.

I will use something like 7.0~20080818 to avoid epoch.
