Not for now. The tags are contributed independently from the packaging.
Maybe there should be virtual packages at some stage, though I expect our
dependencies to do the job for most of our early users who are likely to
know what package they intend to use.

There is a concept called "Environments" in R which caters for the efficient
storage of large data collections. All the microarray chip specifications
and gene descriptions in BioConductor are stored as such and separated as
metadata packages from the software bits of the package.
As soon as I can I will extend the script and Wiki pages respectively.
