Looks good. 

But if may ask one innocent question: Why again do we need?  I mean, the way
I see it, these packages are probably not going to be part of Debian, and
will be simple binary compilations -- without changes on our part -- of the
source CRAN packages.  So if we don't make changes, do we need a changelog?
