[pkg-bioc] Request for description of setup mirroring etc

Dear Egon,

I thought of starting to build the packages locally. Please be so kind
to describe your setup in a document somewhere in CVS, so I can copy
your efforts. I'd very much like to do everything exactly how you did it
for maximum compatibility.

For Bioconductor we have not addressed the issue of these data packages
yet. We certainly need them only once. I did GO and KEGG manually and I
would extend the script to cover these.

If we are building a package only  once, it might be sufficient not to
store a local mirror of CRAN but to only download these on demand. The
same might possibly be achieved by using an automounter, well, I'll
think about it a bit more. I should start first.
