well, we need to replace the debian directory, by the right directory
scheme.

well, I think that an equivalent for rpm exist, and it's definitely not a
problem to add this layer.... Or any other kind of builder layer. I was
planning to add cowbuilder, and it's really a matter of few lines (will
happen but latter,...)..

Yes, it's also working,... (tested for test Edgy and Dapper)
and should be working in all debian based distribution. And this is a
really long list....
