[pkg-bioc] Switch to SVN?

I just co-founded a new Aioth project to revitalize the (in Debian rather
dead but otherwise very alive) OpenMPI package(s) --- and as we've switched
to SVN there, I was wondering if we should switch too?  Two stages: we first
request an SVN archive, and then insert our CVS data into SVN.  Any views in
favour or against?

As this is not time critical, we can of course wait til after NETTAB to not
endanger the work on the presentation.
