[pkg-bioc] question about the status and about repository

Hi Guys

thanks everyone for the effort you already put in this project -- I used
your scripts some time ago to fill-up my local repository with R Cran
packages. Now I need updates thus I came to wiki's page but I see that
your activities didn't sustain and no (semi) official repository ever
was announced although wiki says "The May 2007 brought us a
repository for Debian packages. We hope to announce soon on this page
once its regular maintenance for updates is secured."

could anyone be so kind to update us all on the status of the project?
or I can be completely lost in this world and the project got
replaced by some other project?
What obstacle you ran into or it is just that everyone lost interest?
