I know. I mentioned it not because of its status but to stress that
there is quite a lot out there and people lose oversight. I admit that Eclipse is quite a
mess with all its repositories, at least for newbies, but it has some edge. I could
imagine an analogy between eclipse repositories and an to them and a Debian repository and
an interface to them that is beyond /etc/apt/sources.list .
