Hello all,
First - my apologies for sending this to both you and the ML, I don't
know if you subscribed to it yet or not since it's brand new.
I did some housekeeping and copied bitcoind.git from collab-maint to
pkg-bitcoin (you two should be admins of the team and members of
scm_pkg-bitcoin on git.debian.org).
You can see the gitweb of it here.
http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-bitcoin/bitcoin.git;a=summary
I haven't touched the repo in collab-maint in case you don't want to switch.
In the new pkg-bitcoin repo, I've done some house keeping.
Low-impact changes
- Added Closes: ### tags for all the bugs we're closing with the new release
- Updated the description to say the blockchain is several GB (instead
of 100 MB) to close a bug
Some medium impact changes
- pointed Vcs-Git to the new location
- Changed the maintainer to pkg-bitcoin at list.alioth.debian.org and
added myself as uploader
- Enabled parallel building in debian rules (I was getting impatient
during builds, but if you object I'll turn it off)
Let me know if you object to any of the above.
I think we're close to an upload to unstable and then can replace the
more security vulnerable version in BPO with this one, and then remove
the collab-maint repo.
Cheers,
Scott
