[Pkg-bitcoin-devel] Bug#696262: bitcoin FTBFS: tests fail assuming a RW $HOME

This exact same issue was reported as BTS report #645544 and fixed in
version 0.5.2-1.  The fix was removed in version 0.6.0-1 with this comment:

   * Stop setting HOME during regression tests: Fixed upstream.

Did upstream forget why $HOME should be set?
