[Pkg-bitcoin-devel] Bug#764138: fails to create new wallet or recover from seed

Package: electrum
Version: 1.9.8-1
Severity: normal
I have no .electrum directory, and would like to recover a wallet from a
seed. So I start electrum. It displays a "Electrum could not find an
existing wallet" dialog. I pick an option (which one doesn't matter) and
click Next. It then displays the same dialog again. I click Next again.
Now it fails with "No seed".
What does still work is: electrum -g text with the create or restore
commands.
Also, the electrum gui seems to work once a wallet is in place, it's
just the wizard to create/recover a wallet that has a busted interface.
