I have uploaded the package now, it should be in NEW shortly :)

I managed to get the upstream git repository integrated in a
convenient way such that the signed upstream tags are used directly
and can be verified easily. I wrote something about this in
debian/README.source, but please ask questions if anything is unclear,
or if you would prefer to do things a different way. I uploaded the
git repository to Alioth under pkg-bitcoin, here:

git+ssh://git.debian.org/git/pkg-bitcoin/armory.git

Once you have cloned this repository, see README.source for how to
configure a remote for the upstream source.

I also noticed that txjsonrpc is embedded in Armory, but not packaged
in Debian; I filed an ITP for this (#764560), since I think this
should be packaged separately, but using the embedded copy should be
fine for now.
