Great!  Talking about it on this list I assume you want to do it as a 
team-effort - i.e. invite others to collaborate with you on that 
maintenance effort.

I am too busy at the moment to help out - please ping me next week if 
noone else has joined the conversation and addressed your question at 
the top.

It is a team effort.  You are welcome to join - I just recommend you to 
familiarize yourself with packaging first, on another package.
