The policy is that the version in jessie-backports should be based on the
version in "jessie+1" (ie. stretch/testing), allowing the version to fall
behind was an error/omission on my part. However, I have just now uploaded
2.7.9-1~bpo8+1 to jessie-backports which should resolve this issue :)
