[Pkg-bitcoin-devel] Bug#878288: Stays in synchronising mode after start

Package: electrum
Version: 2.7.9-1~bpo8+1
Severity: grave

When I start Electrum, it says “Synchronizing...” and it stays like
that many hours and never finishes that synchronising.

I asked at a channel IRC-called #electrum at freenode. They thought
problem is because this version of Electrum is so old that it probably
can not do segwit serialisation.

Please update this package to the latest upstream version. And create
backport-package, too.
