Hm, OK, no changes.

Apparently this was only a temporary problem in my/the build
environment.

I've updated the packaging in CVS to also include part of the Ubuntu
patches as well as the kFreeBSD support from BTS, additionally to
building with gcc-3.4 on mips and mipsel.
In the spirit of 'release early release often' right now I'm uploading
2.42a-2 into the archives, especially since I'm afraid I might be
rather unavailable again for some days.

Please test the packaging and report / fix any issues you might find.
