I did not generate the videos, but I think they were generated with
Blender CVS (even the screen captures, by resaving via Blender).

I have heard Blender people have issues with 16 or 8 pixels too, but
no idea if same type or if they can have a fix for 2.43, as it is
near release.

See files, no magic, you could had generated one yourself, just set
output to be AVI jpeg in the selector and render. When playing, the
scaler (yuv422p to yuv420p) is added again and does not match VDec
(Planar 422P) or VO (Planar YV12).
