Could you please have a look at current CVS? I mirrored the upstream
tarball at[1] since the website is frequently down by these days
(refactoring, release time, etc.).

I overreacted WRT the 64-bit problem, but calmed down after having
spoken with Wouter (thanks!). Now, the debian/NEWS (or should that be
stated in debian/README?) file has now been rewritten and I got its
content approved by some Blender coders on IRC.

Remaining step before a possible upload is a rewrite of the copyright
file, which Wouter should do quite soon (in some hours). Then
s/UNRELEASED/experimental/ should happen in debian/copyright and
debian/NEWS.

Maybe should I or Wouter ping you once everything's ready to be
uploaded? Or if you lack time, we could ask one of our sponsors.


Random bits related to Blender:

 * Debian patches will be forwarded upstream in the following days,
   once their bugtracker is back online (I still need to figure out
   whether bug reports were opened upstream).

 * I'm currently hunting down #405803 aka ``blender: Vertical extrude
   crashes X'' (a mesa bug), and I got in touch with Brian Paul
   (a mesa3d-dev guy), so I hope we'll be able to fix it soon, so that
   users lacking DRI could enjoy Blender anyway...

 * I'm also rewritting a bit the ``How to get an X backtrace'' on the
   Debian wiki and I'll probably point to it in Blender's README.Debian.
