Alright, I'll wait a bit so that people is able to have a look at them
and eventually vetoes.

I don't want to compel you to do so, but I'd to be part of the team if
you accept me. I'm using Blender regularly, and my girlfriend is using
it daily, so testing new releases should be quite easy and intensive. I
wanted to give 2.43rc1 a look but didn't find any source tarball at the
moment. Once I'm done with some exams, I'll ping for the CVS revision
number (no branch until now) and give it a try. Having it in
experimental could be useful for testers who want to get it as a Debian
package and who might don't find their arch in the proposed builds[1]
(e.g. amd64...), don't you think so?

You might also want to have a look at other packages I'm maintaining[2]
to ensure that I'm not a total newbie at packaging. I'm also in NM,
FWIW.
