By the time I prepared this upload, I've tried to get rid of the
embedded code copies (under extern/) and I had to modify some variables
in config/linux2-config.py to still be able to build. At that time, I
turned off yafray there, and it hadn't been turn on again since.

It'll be turned on again with the next upload, which should happen soon.
In the meanwhile, I'll upload an i386 (your architecture according to
reportbug) binary on alioth[1] so that you can still use yafray in the
meanwhile.
