I just found out that the package ircp is affected by this, too, thus CCing 
the ircp-Maintainer.
I can either add a Conflicts: and Replaces: for ircp or put it again in an 
additional package. Anyway, this would change maintainership. The patches in 
the ircp package are only in the debian diff, it seems.
