curious, I have the same powerbook (nov '03) and it is detected fine.
could you please paste the output of the following commands:

cat /proc/cpuinfo

something wrong here, or did you filed the report with bluez-utils 2.25
installed? you should have libbluetooth2 installed.

also, if you are using bluetooth as a module be sure to paste the output of
lsmod as well.
