Hi,
the following CVE (Common Vulnerabilities & Exposures) id was
published for bluez-libs some time ago.

CVE-2008-2374[0]:
| src/sdp.c in bluez-libs 3.30 in BlueZ, and other bluez-libs before
| 3.34 and bluez-utils before 3.34 versions, does not validate string
| length fields in SDP packets, which allows remote SDP servers to cause
| a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via a
| crafted length field that triggers excessive memory allocation or a
| buffer over-read.

Unfortunately the vulnerability described above is not important enough
to get it fixed via regular security update in Debian stable. It does
not warrant a DSA.

However it would be nice if this could get fixed via a regular point update[1].
Please contact the release team for this.

This is an automatically generated mail, in case you are already working on an
upgrade this is of course pointless.

Nico
