Yes, hidd comes from bluez-compat. Sorry for reporting to the wrong package. I
am used to doing this from console and I couldn't find any other tool similar
to hidd, so I installed bluez-compat. gnome-bluetooth is not the optimal
solution for me as I am a kde user and kde-bluetooth does not work for some
reason... Anyway, I will try doing this with gnome-bluetooth to see if this is
a specific issue with hidd and will let you know.
