I tried to run a python application -- BluePad -- in my debian system. I noticed that it was only working with python 2.4, not the 2.5 version. Analyzing the problem I saw there was a problem in the PyBluez module: the BluetoothSocket.bind function gave me an error. I tried to update manually the PyBluez library and everything went fine with python 2.5.
