Package: bluez
Version: 4.101-4.1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
The bluetooth device does not work on my laptop (Dell latitue 3440).
I newly installed Debian stable, then upgraded to testing branch.
I installed blueman as the bluetooth manager. When I click "setup new
device",
it shows error: "no adapters found".
When I tried to restart bluetooth service using command "service bluetooth
restart"
Syslog shows:
bluetoothd[6558]: Bluetooth daemon 4.101
bluetoothd[6558]: Starting SDP server
bluetoothd[6558]: DIS cannot start: GATT is disabled
bluetoothd[6558]: Failed to init deviceinfo plugin

This might relate to bug #724735 which was closed. The syslog message is
quite similiar to my syslog message.
The bug reporter saying that he got this problem when upgraded to bluez
4.101-3. Bluetooth works when
he downgraded bluez to 4.101-2+b1. I tried to boot into a ubuntu 13.10 live
CD environment (had it around),
the bluetooth device works perfectly. The bluez version is 4.101-0. The bug
should have been fixed in
bluez 4.101-4, but it's still happeing to me.
