gcc-4.0 4.0.2-3 is a new pull of upstream CVS, and one of the changes was
the addition of some obscure symbol to libstdc++6 which required a shlibs
bump. For technical reasons, *not* having the new boost uploaded allows us
to tell britney to let kdeedu in even though boost is not going in yet, but
once a new boost is uploaded that depends on the new libstdc++6, the only
way we could then update kdeedu would be by pushing in gcc-4.0, binutils,
and glibc, *all* of which are currently RC-buggy. :/
Cheers,
