Right: the issue is that 1.36 started using "long double" math
functions (such as log1p), which don't exist on some architectures.
Consequently, boost1.36 didn't build on these architectures (arm*,
mips*, and hppa IIRC).  

I'm disabling the long double math libraries on those architectures.
But, since boost1.36 was never built for them, there is no ABI issue.

Yeah, I bought a Core2 quad in early September.  It brings compiling
boost back into the realm of possibility.  :-)
